Dec–May generally drier with clearer water.
Jun–Nov brings rains and stronger flow—closures may occur for safety after heavy rain.

Main routes

Main Falls & Upper Basins

Easy

Walk along a cemented path to the lower basin and iconic falls; continue upstream to smaller pools and cascades.

Go early to avoid crowds; bring cash for cottage or raft rentals.

Badian Canyoneering (Kanlaob)

Strenuous

Scrambles, cliff jumps (optional), river floats, and slides through limestone canyons ending near Kawasan.

Only with accredited guides; follow jump instructions; non‑jump detours exist.
Trips are weather‑dependent—expect cancellations after heavy rain.

Getting there

From Cebu City: bus from South Bus Terminal to Badian; alight near Kawasan entrance; short walk to the falls.
For canyoneering: operators in Badian/Alegria handle transfers to the jump‑off and pickups.

Where to stay

Moalboal (Panagsama) for dining and dives with an easy day trip.
Badian/Alegria coastal stays for early starts and quieter nights.
